On November 15th, WSJ+ teamed up with Beast Masters Club to create a very special event in New York City. Legendary Wild Turkey Master Distiller Jimmy Russell led a live whiskey tasting. But it wasn’t just any tasting! Jimmy brought bourbon from three hand-picked barrels out of Wild Turkey’s warehouses and gave our guests the chance to choose their favorite.

With over sixty years at the helm of one of the world’s most famous bourbon distilleries, Jimmy Russell is a true legend in whiskey-making. As he shared the history of Wild Turkey and explained the care and craftsmanship that goes into their bourbon, our lucky members chose this barrel as their favorite of the evening.
